Our Role

What we do and how we do it
Few missionaries go where the church does not yet exist. We help them to stay faithful and fruitful as they invite others to follow Jesus.
We admire those men and women who accept God's call to cross borders and cultures so they can invite others to follow Jesus. But they face many challenges: stress; distractions; discouragement. As a Pastoral Coach, Don works with field leaders and team members to help them stay faithful and fruitful. For security reasons, we can't publish the name of our agency or the countries we work in.

Our timeline to be fully engaged in coaching and training missionaries in 2021

On their 24th anniversary of training and coaching missionaries in difficult places, Don and Karen decide they can no longer continue their work unless they become fully funded. Karen steps back from ministry because of illness.

Don coaches field leaders and team leaders as well as team members. He also trains interns in Intercultural Studio, a rapid training school.

Art and Francine raise $1,000 toward Don's overseas coaching costs by hosting a Pampered Chef Party with Louise as well as a garage sale.

Our prayer on January 1 is that by December 31, our faithful church partners and supporters will help us to reach our fully funded goal. It has been a longtime dream to be 100% fully funded. We are nearly there! By God's grace and your partnership, we are enthusiastic about 2021!

Beyond Ministry
When we take a break, we enjoy visiting Karen's family cabin on the Oregon Coast. We LOVE spending time with our family. We cherish every moment we spend with our 7 grandchildren. We adore Riley, our faithful dog. And spending holidays with our friends.
